Donna Rauschenberg knows that many people think that moving to a community like Friendship Village means you’re giving things up – but after living here for a couple years now, she knows better. For Donna, it means having more to do, new friends to share things with and people to look out for you.
With her husband in skilled care and she herself a heart attack survivor, Donna truly believes moving here saved her life – and has given her husband a new group of people who care about him. Now her biggest worry is choosing from all of the activities and events that fill each day, she just can’t fit everything in.
“It’s not a matter of giving up anything. All you’ve done is moved from one place to another place… but this place has more than you ever did at home.”
